Eduardo Miguel Rusconi Trujillo
Eduardo Miguel Rusconi Trujillo is a lawyer educated in Mexico, Japan, and Australia, experienced in civil-commercial and tax-administrative litigation, as well as in negotiation and mediation. Eduardo Rusconi graduated from the Faculty of Law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico with a thesis titled ‘Second Degree Money Laundering: Analysis of its Various Forms of Commission and its Fiscal Impact’. In 2011, he completed a Master’s degree in International Economic and Business Law at Kyushu University in Japan, graduating with a thesis on ‘The Role of Financial Derivative Products in the 2007 Financial Crisis’, and in 2016, he finished a Master’s in International Tax Law at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Additionally, in 2017, Eduardo completed a diploma in strategic litigation in human rights, taught by the Institute of Legal Research of UNAM. Eduardo Rusconi is also Private Mediator number 213, certified by the TSJCM.
Before founding Rusconi & Sauza, Eduardo successively worked for Solórzano, Carvajal, González y Pérez Correa, S.C., and for Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres-Landa, S.C. (now Hogan Lovells BSTL).
Eduardo has been a professor of ‘Formation of Regional Economic Blocks’ at Anáhuac University, and ‘Human Rights’ at La Salle University, and has several publications in specialized journals on law and taxes.

Selene Sauza
Selene Sauza is an attorney specializing in immigration with over 15 years of experience, a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the UNAM. She holds a specialty in Constitutional Law and Amparo (legal protection), as well as a Master’s degree in Tax Law.
She has taught courses on Mexican Immigration Law and has been a speaker at conferences on foreigner affairs, with more than 25 specialized articles published.
Her main role is to assist and advise foreigners and their families in immigrating to Mexico, legally obtaining their temporary or permanent residency and/or Mexican passport.
Over the last 5 years, she has helped more than 1500 families obtain their residency; advising multinational companies, Mexican companies, and individuals in their immigration processes with positive results within the agreed timelines.
She is a founding partner of Rusconi & Sauza and heads the immigration law area.

René Javier Viruega Olea
René Javier Viruega Olea holds a Law degree with a Specialty in Business Law, a Diploma in Financial Law from Tecnológico de Monterrey, has completed courses in Fintech Law, and Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism. He holds a Master's degree and a Doctorate in Law with Honors from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He is the author of the book "El seguro de caución y la fianza de empresa. Análisis comparativo" and various articles in specialized journals.
Between 2003 and 2007, he worked at Martínez y Villalobos, S.C., Proconta, S.C., Afianzadora Insurgentes, S.A. de C.V., the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry, and from 2007 to 2015 was a public official in the Treasury of the Federation, issuing opinions on legal inquiries made by Departments in financial matters and conducting payment requirements to surety companies and other guarantors in compliance with obligations issued in favor of the Federal Government. From 2016 to 2020, he was a CONACYT scholar, conducting studies and presenting papers on commercial guarantees at universities in Spain, Colombia, and UNAM.
Dr. Viruega also has various articles published in the digital magazine Magister Iuris of the Faculty of Law at UNAM and currently serves as a compliance officer at a SOFOM, in charge of the financial law area at Rusconi & Sauza., leading a project to establish a Fintech - Electronic Payment Fund Institution, advising at the same time for the proper performance of various financial institutions.
He is the coordinator of the financial area at Rusconi & Sauza.

Alfonso Ramírez Ramírez
Alfonso Ramírez Ramírez holds a law degree from the Corporate Academic School CADE. He completed his social service at the Attorney General's Office of Justice of Mexico City and attended the international seminar "Challenges and Future of Public Procurement" at the Institute of Legal Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. In 2020, he completed the "Juicio de Amparo" Diploma by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation through the General Directorate of Houses of Legal Culture.
Before joining Rusconi & Sauza, he worked in the area of public procurement at companies such as Holiday de México, S.A. de C.V., Trenkes, S.A. de C.V., and Productos Galeno, S. de R.L.

Lenny Patrizia Franco Ortiz
Lenny Patrizia Franco Ortiz holds a Master's degree in Criminal Law and the Accusatory System from Universidad Humanitas, graduating with honors. She is currently pursuing a Specialization in Criminal Law at the University of Barcelona, Spain, and is an active member of the Inter-American Bar Association.
For twelve years, she worked at the Attorney General's Office of the Republic, in the Specialized Prosecution for Organized Crime, Special Unit for Crimes Against Health, Specialized Unit for Investigation of Kidnapping Crimes, and Specialized Unit for Investigation of Operations with Illicit Proceeds, Counterfeiting or Alteration of Currency. She has also served as a lecturer for various diplomas at the Intercontinental University.
Since 2020, she has been the head of the criminal area at Rusconi & Sauza, with more than 180 satisfied clients.

Mario Eduardo Olvera Ortiz
Mario Eduardo Olvera Ortiz holds a law degree from the Universidad Tecnológica de México and completed his social service in the Undersecretariat of the Penitentiary System of Mexico City.
Eduardo is a practicing lawyer with experience in civil, commercial, family, and labor litigation; he has also participated in administrative trials, actions for the effective protection of rights, trials for the protection of political-electoral rights of citizens, and complaints due to contradictions of criteria.

Paz Itzel Herrera Arzola
Itzel Herrera holds a Law degree from the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla, graduating with a thesis titled "Trafficking of Migrant Men at the Southern Border of Mexico: International Framework and Legal Approach of Mexico." She has a Master's in Tax Law from Universidad de las Américas Puebla, graduating Cum Laude, and obtained a specialization in Tax Consulting from the same university. In 2011, she completed a diploma in Migration and Governance at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE), based at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2019, she completed the "Dr. Jorge Carpizo" Human Rights diploma at 75 years of his birth and the Public Contracting diploma, both at the Legal Research Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. In 2020, she concluded the Amparo Trial diploma by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation through the General Directorate of Legal Culture Houses.
Itzel is a lawyer experienced in civil, family, tax, and administrative law. She has served in the Technical Execution Area at the Finance Secretariat of the state of Puebla, the Department of Protection for Mexicans at the General Consulate of Mexico in Boston, Massachusetts, and in the Xochimilco Borough.

Evelyng Karina Pérez Ortega
Evelyng, a lawyer graduated from the Faculty of Higher Studies Aragón of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, has taken various courses offered by the same faculty, such as Legal Psychology, Body Language, and Practical Workshop for Lie Detection I and II. She is currently doing her social service at the Faculty of Higher Studies Aragón.
Moreover, Evelyng joined the team at Rusconi & Sauza in 2019, serving as a law intern.
She currently works in the civil, commercial, and family litigation team as a junior lawyer.

She is a Higher Technical University graduate in Administration, specializing in human resources, from the Universidad Tecnológica de Tecámac. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting at the Centro de Estudios Superiores “Felipe Villanueva.”

Reina Deyanira Serna Martínez
Reina Deyanira Serna Martínez is a lawyer, graduated from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Azcapotzalco Campus. She completed her social service at the Legal Office of Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Azcapotzalco, specializing in real estate law. Reina also attended various courses offered by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, including one on administrative litigation in summary proceedings at the Administrative Court of Justice of Mexico City.
Before joining Rusconi & Sauza, Reina gained valuable experience working with law firms such as Calderón & Asociados and Zepeda Hernández & Reyes. She currently holds the position of Junior Lawyer at Rusconi & Sauza, working in the litigation department.

Leslie Alejandra Mejía Ramos
She is a lawyer, graduated from the Faculty of Higher Studies Acatlán. She completed her social service at the National Electoral Institute and took various courses offered by the National Autonomous University of Mexico, including a workshop on special civil trials.
She has experience as an Intellectual Property lawyer, having worked at Sesma, Sesma & Mc Neese and IdenBiz México, and later ventured into litigation in areas such as family, civil, and commercial law at GPH Lawyers.
She is currently a lawyer in the litigation department at Rusconi & Sauza.

Julio César Baena Guzmán
Es licenciado en derecho por la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México.
César es abogado y cuenta con experiencia en derecho notarial, corporativo y laboral. Trabajó en el equipo de abogados de la Notaría 175 del Estado de México entre 2021 y 2023.
Actualmente es abogado en Rusconi & Sauza y titular del área de Corporativo.

Jessica Elizabeth Cruz Peña
Jessica Elizabeth Cruz Peña graduated with a degree in Accounting from the Faculty of Accounting and Administration at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
She has extensive experience in administrative, accounting, fiscal, and auditing areas.
Throughout her career, she has excelled in various areas, notably for her leadership skills and commitment. She is continuously updating her knowledge in fiscal matters and is at the forefront of implementing artificial intelligence tools in the accounting and fiscal fields.
Fue parte del equipo contable-administrativo en Centro de Colición, S.A. de C.V. Posteriormente formó parte del área de auditoría en el despacho Álvarez Balbás y actualmente es responsable en el área de compliance fiscal en Rusconi & Sauza.

Lucia Mayola Coyotzi García
She holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She completed her social service under the supervision of Doctor María del Socorro Marquina Sánchez, focusing on public and private international law. She undertook her professional internship at the Fiscal Prosecutor's Office of Mexico City, where she gained valuable knowledge in administrative litigation procedures.
She pursued a diploma in Business Law, as well as a seminar in Energy Law. Additionally, she began her second degree at the Faculty of Accounting at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Before joining Rusconi & Sauza, she acquired practical experience at the law firm Benguiat, Benezra y Asociados. Currently, she is a Junior Lawyer at Rusconi & Sauza, working in the areas of civil litigation and corporate law.

Marycarmen Ortiz Mendoza
Abogada egresada de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, responsable del área de asuntos migratorios. Se ha especializado en la constitución de empresas con inversión extranjera, procesos de regularización migratoria, iniciando trámites ante diversas autoridades en México, tales como la oficina de representación del Instituto Nacional de Migración, la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores, la Comisión Mexicana de Ayuda a Refugiados (COMAR) y, principalmente, en la elaboración e impugnación de resoluciones negativas y en la defensa de extranjeros sujetos a deportación en territorio mexicano.
