On June 29, 2012, the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Power of the Federation determined the annulment of the election of National Councilors of the Party of the Democratic Revolution, as well as Delegates to the National Congress for federal electoral district one and State Councilors for local electoral district two in the State of Morelos, upon finding that the electoral day of October 23, 2011, was conducted irregularly. The Trial for the Protection of the Political-Electoral Rights of the Citizen 1698/2012, sponsored by Rusconi & Sauza, was the third trial won by the firm before the Superior Chamber of the TEPJF due to the series of challenges to this electoral process.
